To significantly decrease your chances of theft you should purchase a quality locking van tool box.So how do you go about installing such a tool box inside your van?

You should begin by measuring the length and width of the van bed before you purchase your secure tool box.Do bear in mind you get what you pay for so if that tool box deal in the shop looks too good to be true then it probably is. Plastic tool boxes in particular can become deformed over time if exposed to sunlight for long periods of time.A steel tool kit is recommended for heavier loads but do bear in mind how the van door will open in order to make access to your tools easier.

When installing the kit make sure that all bolts are tightly fastened as you wouldn’t want to have spent all that cash on a secure tool kit and then not fastening it down securely enough!
